Chapter 5 – Chaos Child
My consciousness slowly surfaced, and the pressure of the Chaos Realm have also faded. Is this what it felt like to awaken from a deep sleep?
[Rina, hey, you’re finally awake. The connection has also stabilized.]
I was surprised when I suddenly heard a voice in the darkness, but I remembered that it was Tiamat’s voice and relaxed. Even though I couldn’t feel anything. I wonder if she is going to explain what’s happening to me right now?
[Ah, you are probably confused because right now, you most likely don’t have any of your senses active. But don’t be scared, that’s normal. And since I currently can’t read your mind, I will give you instructions on what to do. Also, this communication is one-sided, so you won’t be able to reply.]
Hmmm, she’s probably using her authority, power, or something to directly communicate with me.
[Well then, first, in your mind, say activate core as if you are activating a voice program in your phone.]
I immediately followed her instructions.

At first, I didn’t feel anything, then slowly I could feel something build up in the center of my being. Then I could hear strange noises like a mechanical device starting up.
Then a seemingly robotic voice followed it.
[Core Activation started, waiting for further instructions. If you require help, please refer to the manual or call Help Menu]
[Alright, that’s good, you have activated it properly. You would need to use the Help Menu for further details, so I’ll only tell you to do your best. I can’t interfere more than what I am currently doing or that world would end up with distortions.Just note that everything is inside the help menu, even including information about this world. Without giving me any help other than that, she left me at the mercy of the help menu, which would probably instruct me about the rest that I needed to know.
For now, I decided to follow her instructions.

Saying so, in my mind, a frame similar to that of a game menu came out in like a floating hologram screen. I noticed a blinking punctuation mark on the menu and because there was no mouse or pointer to click it, I only thought of opening it.
It opened as expected and instructions were displayed in front of me on what I have to do first. The explanation was easy to understand, probably because Tiamat arranged that way. After following the initial procedures I need to do, I then issued commands to check my current condition.

Issuing the command, I was shown a detail of my current condition.

I see, no wonder why I don’t have any sense active. For now, I need to create a body according to manual. I probably look like the ball Tiamat was holding before. To create my body…

After issuing the command, I could feel energy spreading out around me, which was the first feeling I actually had in this new world. I wonder what looks like from the outside.
[Command Initialized.]
The Core announced. I’m still not used to this, so I was still under full assist mode. On Tiamat’s notes, she mentioned that when I get used to the commands and stuff, I would be able to manipulate everything without the assistance.
[Body Components are currently being gathered. Do you require further instructions on the desired body type? ]
Following the notes, I issued it to replicated closely to what my soul data look like, creating a body that would resemble me from my previous life, but would be using this world’s components.
The Core then notified me that it was finished in gathering the materials needed to create my body and ask me to proceed with the creation.

I still couldn’t feel anything, but I could see a percentage bar that shows the progress of body creation. When it reached 100%, the Core requested for me to command to link my senses.
[Command: Partial Sensory Link Initialize]
After Issuing the command, I only linked my vision first in order for me not be in a sudden shock and would slowly link my other senses after. Linking only my sight, I slowly opened my eyes. But what greeted me was surely shocking. After all, what greeted my view was a giant monster that look like a dragon with its mouth open and flames were about to burst out of it.
A moment later, my vision was covered in flames, and once again disappeared.
I didn’t expect that to happen, but that was quite a greeting. I wondered where I ended up to encounter that. Not panicking at my situation. I issued another command.
[Command: Emergency Relocation, Area Condition Safe.]
Not knowing what was happening outside, I could hear some sounds from the Core, activating and was teleported somewhere else.
Tiamat did tell me that the Core was strong enough to withstand an attack from a God, so a dragon breath won’t probably damage me that much.
Now then, I hope that in the next location, I there won’t encounter something like that.

I once again opened my eyes, now greeted by a wide blue sky. I have also linked control on my new body, so I could move it.
I stood up and checked my surroundings.
I was currently standing on an empty plot of land in the middle of a wide prairie. The reason why this plot became nothing but soil was because of the collection to create my body.
After finding out that there were no dangerous creatures around, I finally activated a full link.

Seconds after hearing some mechanical sounds inside my head, I was flooded with senses like touch, smell etc. which felt new to me. Though it should be similar to what I could feel from my previous body because it derived data from my soul. It might have been enhanced because of the core, adapting it to this world.

The Status of my Core was also at minimum except for my HP and MP, and this was because I have just awakened, there are various ways for me to increase my core status depending on the situation, but it is currently not necessary, so it ended up like this.
After a few more checks and adjustments, and temporarily linking my soul, status have changed. My current status under normal analysis skills would look like this:

This is only the status of the body I finished created and all skills and titles would be added after I have a proper soul link to the body which would synchronize all my skills and titles.
Following the Help Menu, it was recommended that I don’t link my HP and MP because it would overload the body I created. Skills aside, suddenly having a ton of HP would greatly distort the body, making it very unstable, and the instability might even cause damage to my Core.
